Emoree is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer (backend focus) to join our high-impact driven team to help us in our journey to build and maintain impactful reading platform for pupils, especially for socially disadvantaged pupils, teachers and parents. You´ll be at the heart of Emoree´s mission to make learning easy, fun and lifelong as well as enabling organisations to better manage their learning, success and impact. We work as a team on all new features with tight collaboration with our product, sales, and management, as well as with our customers of course.

Your mission:

• Participate in entire development cycle from design, implementation, testing, rollout, and support of new and existing features
• Deliver testable, maintainable and high quality code, documentation and take operational responsibility for the components that you develop
• Make human-interaction design/coding decisions while keeping customer experience in the forefront
• Contribute to product design and architecture planning of major systems and features

Your heroic skills:

• Have at least 6+ years of professional experience in software or platform development
• Experience in back-end development with PHP
• Proficient in database design (MySQL), API design, as well as front-end technologies HTML5, CSS3
• You are familiar with modern JavaScript web framework, such as Vue.js, React, Angular, Node.js as well as jQuery
• Bonus points if you have experience with NGINX and mobile development framework like Flutter or React Native
• Value having fun, staying positive, and learning new things, and enjoy working closely together with your team to bring impact within reading and language skill improvements to your peers
• Proud about what you do, have a high interest on learners learning success and have high interest in keeping up with current standard methodologies in your areas of expertise
• Collaborative and a team-first player who sees the value in pairing and can also work independently
• UI and UX designer skills and experience with ADDIE development model are an add on
